  1. Leaving the nest for college is one of the great transitions of middle-class life. Good luck to all concerned!

A college friend of my mother's from Belfast had two sons who obstinately refused to leave home for any reason. She finally left herself.

  2. The title is a good sign. Everything healthy here. A year, not likely more than two, the subsequent title is going to be something like: wouldn't you like to go out to dinner, and maybe we can stop by the grocery store? My only is in grad school now across the country, sniff.
