For some mysterious reason, the Kindle version of the Caulkins et al. Marijuana Legalization book is available for $1.99. Â You don’t need a Kindle to read it; it shows up on my PC a page at a time, quite legibly. Unlike a genuine paper remainder, you can’t use it to start a fire, but since you can give it away or “lend it out” electronically you could certainly use it to start an argument.
I’m told this low, low price won’t outlast the weekend.
Speaking, I believe, for all four authors, I can say we’re much more interested in readers than in royalty checks, so let me encourage you to grab one for yourself and one for your annoying uncle.

I am absolutely not saying this out of friendship with the authors: This is the best possible buy in public policy analysis (on drugs or anything else) anyone could ask for — take advantage people!
Fantastic. It’s a done deal.
First Christie’s lieutenant cracks and now this great offer?
As they say on the intertubes: Yay!
Amazon’s price to me is $12.95; good value, but not a bargain.
Just to let the authors know - I have recommended this book to a number of parents as a way to increase understanding and reduce conflict in their relationship(s) with their teenage kids. Because the text is clearly written in understandable language, comprehensive in scope, non-partisan, and level headed it’s helped - sometimes dramatically - in every instance. My copy is extensively underlined and notated. Thank you for your work.
Went and got it on the Kindle for Ipad - works great. Thanks!
Transform’s books are all available as free pdf downloads - bargain! http://www.tdpf.org.uk/resources/publications
