Glenn Loury and I on Bloggingheads

Hitting Cornel West, issues in urban policing, Al Sharpton, white identity politics in the GOP. And I have a final gratifying announcement on a more personal front, too.

  1. I'm an avid Glenn Show fan. Thanks for another solid show, Harold. I'm frequently referring these to friends (though they probably don't watch) because the pair of you offer an honest and rigorous take on issues of civic behavior / social justice, which generally don't get that treatment, neither on TV/radio/internet nor even among friends in casual discourse. Keep it up — and make Glenn do more shows

  2. I skimmed it. The West thing is academic inside baseball to me. I've never read any of his books. I was kind of waiting for the urban policing, GOP identity politics part. Is there more coming?

Meanwhile, shocking news!!!! I got a fundraising letter from Scott bleeping Walker!!!! I think it could be because of that conservative website that one of you-all here linked to a little while ago. I can't think of any other reason some rightwingy nutbar from the Midwest would be writing to me. So weird. Did anyone else get one?
