Nice. On a related note, it is peculiarly British to wince at the cloying sentimentality of "loved ones" as the stock phrase for "relatives" after loss of life in a disaster? The title of Evelyn Waugh's 1948 satire The Loved Oneon American funeral practices assumes this. Grief. loss and responsibility do not require love, let alone liking. though these surely make the pain more acute.
