I find myself thinking how wasteful it is to have the Field Museum right next to the football stadium like that. The parking issues alone would make it essentially impossible to visit the museum while a game was going on (and for the couple hours before and at least an hour after), time that would normally be prime museum-visiting hours. That said, the pictures are impressive.
How close is light rail? Seems to me getting there or leaving there during a game by light rail might be pretty easy.

That may well be, but I'd like to hear from a Chicagoan about how it actually plays out. In general, even with good transportation, wise non-game-attending residents tend to avoid travel in the area of a football (or baseball) stadium on game day. (Some personal experience coming into play here as well.)
