Bob Beckel agrees.
McCain is polling about even now, and there’s no way he’s going to do as well on Election Day as he is in polls taken while the Dems are still slagging each other.
Beckel points out that all the pandering to the right wing McCain had to do to get the nomination will be death to him in the general election.
