And yes, the new Newsweek number probably isn’t right, but it does restore a lovely symmetry, doesn’t it? The rate of decline has been reasonably steady at about 12 points a year since the post-9/11 peak. That would have the Beloved Leader down in the low teens by the time he leaves.
