Comparative religion dep't
This one is going around:
Karl Rove offers a preacher $100,000 for his church if the preacher will say, in his sermon, that George W. Bush is a saint. The preacher agrees.
The next Sunday, with the President sitting proudly in the front pew, the preacher says:
"George Bush is petty, a self-absorbed hypocrite and a nitwit. He is a liar, a cheat, and a low-intelligence weasel. He has lied about his military record and had the gall to put himself in a jet plane landing on a carrier posing before a banner claiming 'Mission Accomplished' when the bad part of the mission was just starting. His domestic policies consist of robbing the poor to give to the rich, of starving the hungry and stripping the naked of their few remaining rags. He is the poorest excuse for a Christian I've ever known or heard of.
"But, compared to Karl Rove, George Bush is a saint."
