I did Michael Krasny’s KQED Forum this morning with Tracey Helton and Sam Quinones. The topic was opioid addiction and overdose. There was an avalanche of calls, tweets and emails as there are every time I do media on this topic. This tells me an enormous number of people are hurting, probably far more than our official statistics reveal.
