The New York Times has a “Room for Debate” forum (400-word essays) on reducing drug-related harm.. Keith and I both have contributions, on treatment access under Obamacare and swift-certain-fair, respectively. There are also pieces on naloxone, safe injection rooms, racism, decriminalization, and legalization. Nothing about violence-minimizing drug law enforcement.
The problem with 400 words is that it’s barely enough to state a case; you wind up leaving out all of the nuance and paying no attention to counter-arguments.
