This is perfect. The only things I have to add:

—Glassman has done the same with Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, and Mitt Romney.

  1. I for one saw the name Samuel Adams and tried to think of other famous former tax collectors who were also brewer-patriots.

    I knew that Thomas Paine was a tax collector, but was unaware that Sam Adams was as well.
