The article reads to me as a not-very-subtle polemic for confiscatory inheritance and gift taxes, a 50% corporate income tax and a 70% top marginal income tax rate.

Russell, the class war has been going on for 30+ years. That the rich have plenty of the “rest” convinced that they haven’t fired the first shot is… genius.
I have to agree with the comments above, although I am assuming Matthew was being sarcastic. I wish the article actually had given practical advice on how to succeed in commercial real estate.
