Australian climate scientists rap-the clean version. You read me right: the clean version. Not super clean either. It’s not clear this would meet Tipper’s approval. But I bet Al likes it anyway.

Call me crazy, but something tells me this isn’t going to be helpful.

I got through almost 17 seconds of it…
But I’ve got an incredibly low tolerance for noise.

Still… given that these climate scientists suffer death threats, this effort is large of them.
Heroic even. So a tip of the stovepipe hat to them…

We. are. not. their. target. audience.

  4. Andrew Sabl says:

I know a fair number of young Australians (including some who read *Cleo*, referred to in the video, which is something like *Cosmopolitan* only less demure), and at least a few twentysomething Americans. I think the target audience will love this.

If you’re going to do a rap song at least try to make it sound distinct from mating cats.

Nowhere creative as the Large Haldron Collider rap. Just seems like a bunch of geeks piling on. Academic titles, which seem to be the thrust here, aren’t as convincing to people outside of academia. And anyone over 35 in this video? I’m not a denier, just sayin…

Not a Climate Scientist: “Academic titles, which seem to be the thrust here, aren’t as convincing to people outside of academia.”

I find the authority of academic titles mainly comes into question when the audience doesn’t like the message. But I do agree that the video relies heavily academic titles. That’s just fresh meat for the denier crowd; which is why I fear that if it goes viral it won’t necessarily be in a good way.

It’s really great that people are shnairg this information.
