As Talleyrand might say, the Obama campaign’s disavowal of Clark’s comments on McCain is worse than a crime: it’s a blunder. This is an example of what he calls “bitch-slap” politics: can a candidate defend himself and his people, and then move on to attack? Not a good answer today from the Obama campaign.
